Overview - A good 4* hotel, official rating 5*. The welcome was lovely – champagne on arrival! Music and the animation team greet the new guests. This hotel is for adults only and is one of the best that I’ve ever been to. It has 250 rooms so the feeling is quite intimate here. The welcome is warm and both the fellow guests and staff are friendly which makes for a lovely atmosphere. There is something for everyone with a pianist in the lobby bar, evening entertainement and the Carambola Bar for more up to date music, cocktails and pool tables.
Location - On its own beach about 20 mins transfer from Jardines del Rey airport
Facilities – Restaurants /Bars – 3 a la carte, including International, Italian and Las Arenas beach front. International buffet with pasta, meat and fish live cooking stations. Live cooking station for pancakes in at breakfast and crepes in the evening. 24 hour snack bar for snacks and drinks.
Facilities – Pool/Beach – Lovely beach and pool area. You are able to walk to the Sol hotel next door, if you walk further round the bay it brings you to another beautiful bay. Look out for the pelicans! Towel service is included at the pool and beach so no need to take your own beach towels. There is also a drinks service, which includes Pepe serving fresh coconuts and rum which you sit on your sunbed! The pool is standing height throughout so in some areas its ok to just sit and cool off!
Facilities – Rooms - all rooms include amenities, TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, balcony or terrace.
Facilities – Sport – On the beach there are pedalos, hobbie cats, snorkelling – diving also available but this is at extra charge. At the pool the animation team keep everyone busy with daily games of water polo! Theres a gym for the energtic and also massages available ( at extra charge). The dancing lessons are also great fun.
Top Tips and Recommendations - Upgrade to a lagoon view room, the view is stunning! They are either a ‘sunset’ or ‘sunrise’ view and are set on stilts overlooking the lagoon, so romantic and peaceful. The hotel also arrange weddings and you can choose either a beachfront location or a pagola above the pool area.
